TransitSHARE is a self-managed electronic resource library designed to encourage information and knowledge sharing and collaboration among transportation providers statewide to promote best practices and improve efficiencies. Its development was funded by grants from the Federal Transportation Administration. The value of this library is determined by active participation and sharing of information by transit systems.
Transit agencies can share their information by uploading files to the library, and download files posted by other systems. Files posted in the library are categorized by type and subject, and must be pdf files for portability and ease of use. MPTA members are responsible for managing their own posted files. New ones can be uploaded and dated files deleted. Only non-sensitive, public information files should be posted to the TransitSHARE library.
