MPTA Seeking Volunteers for Training Committee

We are looking for two volunteers - one representing a small urban and one representing a rural service area - to join the training committee. This is the small group that works with MDOT, our (incoming) training coordinator, and a MASSTrans representative to oversee the training programs at a high level. This is something included in the contract that I understand kind of recently devolved as Joe DeKoning just directly handled most of the training programs, MASSTrans handled their Frontline conference/Roadeo.

The idea is that the small group meets quarterly (for about two hours at a time) to review and decide on training programs and spend the budgeted allotment, so that it's not just MDOT, MPTA, or MASSTrans deciding directly. Still, as you may know, the MPTA's Rural Operators Committee and Maintenance Committee each also help plan some specific aspects of the RTMW and TVMS programs.

Please let me know of any volunteers who would be willing to serve in this capacity for FY25.
